By proceeding with the reservation you accept and agree with Aava Malacca Hotel (‘the Hotel’) that the reservation (details of which are set out below), if accepted by us, shall be on the terms and conditions as follows:

Rates

All room rates quoted are in Ringgit Malaysia and are inclusive of a 10% service charge and 0% goods and services tax (‘GST’).

The rates quoted are based on your period of stay. Rates are subject to change as a result of changes in your arrival and/or departure dates.

Rate is for one (1) or two (2) adults only per room basis.

Heritage Tax of RM2.00 per room per night and RM10.00 Tourism Tax per room per night (if applicable) are payable upon check in.

The maximum number of guests per room is two (2) adults + two (2) children (below twelve (12) years old) except the Family Suite and Grand Suite where the maximum number of guests is four  (4) adults + two (2) children (below twelve (12) years old). Children who are twelve (12) or younger sleep for free in the existing bedding of a room shared with a paying adult. Fees apply should a rollaway bed be required. Please contact the hotel for more information.

A cash deposit of RM50.00 for each room or a valid credit card is required upon check-in for incidentals in addition to full payment of room and tax.

In the event you complete a booking based on a rate that has been incorrectly posted, the Hotel reserves the right to correct the rate or cancel the reservation at its discretion, and will contact you directly of the Hotel’s action.

 

Check in and Check Out Time

Check-in time is from 3:00pm to 6.00pm and check-out time is by 12:00pm.

A valid government-issued identification or passport is required at check-in.

Kindly notify us for any arrivals after 6.00pm, failing which, your booking is deemed cancelled. We shall reserve our absolute rights to resell the room(s) and our ‘no show’ terms will apply.


Reservation

A reservation cannot be completed until the guest clicks on the “CONFIRM” button and guest is bound by the Hotel’s terms and conditions.

Ensure that your telephone number and email address is entered correctly and is contactable. In the event that we are not able to contact you via the telephone number or the email address provided in your reservation form, your status will be cancelled without prior notice.

A Confirmation Email will be sent to you within twenty-four (24) hours from the Hotel’s receipt of a completed booking. Please note the cancellation policy before committing to a reservation. Full payment is required to guarantee a reservation. Full payment has to be made within seventy-two (72) hours after obtaining the Confirmation Email. Reservation not paid in full shall be regarded as non-guaranteed reservation and it will be automatically cancelled after 72 hours from the time of booking. Please contact the hotel directly if you wish for an extension on payment dateline.

For booking made on the same day of arrival, kindly call the Hotel for confirmation.

 

EARLY ARRIVAL AND LATE DEPARTURE

Should you arrive at the Hotel prior to the normal check-in time, you are advised to approach our Front Desk Agent for assistance in storing your luggage until check-in is available. If arriving early, you are also advised to consider making a reservation for the evening prior to your arrival.

Late check-outs are available on request subject to Hotel’s discretion on room availability and occupancy level.

Please check with our Front Desk Agent at least twenty-four (24) hours prior to your departure on availability of late check-out. A half-day room charge may be incurred for late check-out between 12.00pm to 6.00pm and a full day room charge may be incurred for late check-out after 6.00pm.

Extension of Stay 

In the event of guest(s) wishing to extend their stay, the hotel may allow such extension subject to guest(s) paying in advance for the extended stay and subject to availability of room(s).
 

Cancellation / Modification Policy

The cancellation/ modification requests submitted via any of the means below, three (3) days prior to the date of arrival, will normally be refunded 100% of their payment, within fourteen (14) working days, unless you are notified otherwise in the Confirmation Email.

Any cancellations/ modification received after the due date is subject to a minimum one (1) night stay per room as cancellation fee, which is inclusive of 10% service charge and 0% GST, unless you are notified otherwise in the Confirmation Email.

Any changes to your reservation must be made directly with the Hotel. This applies to change of dates, extension of stay, early check out, delay of arrival or cancellation in full or in part. Any problems or questions on your reservation prior to arrival or during your stay should be directed to any of the following:

 

Non-Arrival to the Hotel (No Show)

Failure to arrive on the scheduled date will be treated as a late cancellation and will incur a minimum one (1) night stay cancellation fee, inclusive of 10% service charge and 0% GST.

If you fail to check in on the first date but still continue your travel plan to stay at the hotel, please contact us so that we can keep the room for you for the rest of the nights. Otherwise, the entire reservation will be auto-cancelled and one (1) night’s rate will be charged.


Personal Details Security

We highly value your trust in choosing our hotel online reservation system. Therefore, we will duly and diligently safeguard and protect the privacy and confidentiality of your personal details (including your credit card details).

 

Age and Responsibility

You warrant that you are eighteen (18) years of age or over and have legal capacity to use the Site and to create a legally binding contract.

You warrant that all personal information submitted during accommodation booking is correct and you accept financial responsibility for all transactions made under your name and account.


Guests Responsibilities

The Hotel reserves the right to judge acceptable levels of noise or behaviour of guest(s) or representatives, who must take all steps for corrective action as requested by the Hotel. In the event of failure to comply with management requests, the Hotel may terminate the booking or stop any event immediately without being liable for any form of refund or compensation.

Smoking in all public areas of the hotel is strictly prohibited. Guest(s) of the hotel are not allowed to smoke in the bedroom, toilet or common areas of the Hotel.
 

General Information

Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information contained online, we cannot accept responsibility for any errors or omissions, and reserve the right to vary, amend, supplement or cancel any of the information or offers featured online at any time. 
Aava Malacca Hotel shall not be responsible for any loss or damage which you may suffer arising out of events beyond its control or the control of its suppliers (including, without limitation, fire, failure of electrical, gas or other power supplies, strikes, industrial action, terrorist activity, technical problems with transport, illness of entertainers and bad weather), nor for any curtailment, cancellation or change to any accommodation, activity or itinerary or any other consequences which arise of such events. These terms and conditions shall be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in Malaysia.
